The DOJ confirmed a procedural shift: 57.55 BTC seized in the Samourai Wallet case will remain on the U.S. balance sheet and will not be auctioned.

Under Executive Order 14233, seized Bitcoin is now classified as a Strategic Reserve Asset, rather than being liquidated for cash as done previously by U.S. Marshals.
