Today let's talk about the Alpha risk control system. Please like and bookmark.
The risk control system is not complicated; simply put, it is a points threshold system where each individual's account needs to be independently verified. The initial credit score for an Alpha account is 100 points, and newly registered accounts within the last three months have an initial value of 95 points.
1. When the account exhibits the following behaviors, points will be deducted:
1. If 90% of the account's funds come from other Alpha accounts (issues with internal fund transfers), 20 points will be deducted;
2. Logging into two accounts from the same device will result in a deduction of 5 points; logging into three accounts will result in a deduction of 10 points, and logging into three or more will result in a deduction of 20 points;
3. If the number of airdrop accounts claimed under the same IP is greater than or equal to 5, 5 points will be deducted for each account;
4. If the account fails to pass verification during three consecutive face recognition pop-ups, 10 points will be deducted for each account;
5. If multiple accounts consolidate funds to the same on-chain address, 20 points will be deducted for each account.
6. Etc...
2. When the account exhibits the following behaviors, points will be added:
1. If the account's fund amount is greater than 10 WU, 20 points will be added; if greater than 1 WU, 10 points will be added; no points will be added for amounts below 1 WU;
2. If the account has conducted a C2C deposit or withdrawal once within 30 days, 5 points will be added; if there are spot or contract trades, 10 points will be added;
3. If the account holds Alpha tokens valued at over 50 U within 30 days, 5 points will be added;
4. If there is active behavior on Binance Square (including changing avatars, names, posting, commenting, voting), 5 points will be added;
5. Etc.....
3. When the account exhibits the following behaviors, the temporary control item will be assigned a value of 0; otherwise, it will be 1:
1. On-chain points manipulation behavior (previous vulnerability)
2. Behavior of using scripts to manipulate points trading for airdrops confirmed by reports.
3. Etc....
4. The risk score of the account will be reassessed within a certain period:
Account Alpha risk value = (initial points + points added - points deducted) * temporary control item
In summary, when Binance needs to tighten risk control measures, it can simply set a higher threshold score to adjust. For example: when the account score is below 90 points, behaviors like claiming airdrops will require facial verification; when the account score is below 80 points, temporary risk control will be applied to the Alpha account; when the account score is 0, it will be permanently banned, and Alpha rewards will be reclaimed.
