🚨 Security Awareness — Please Read Carefully
I’m sharing a personal incident from 09 January 2026 only to help the community stay safe.
While I was hosting a Binance Square live session, I was also dealing with an important call on my phone. My focus was divided, and that’s where the risk started. A couple of days earlier, my email account had been compromised, which later became the entry point for further trouble.
During the live session, I noticed abnormal behavior and asked my co-host to continue while I stepped away. When I returned, my account had logged out. During the re-login process, a QR-based prompt appeared, and shortly after that, an unauthorized withdrawal from my Spot wallet occurred.
The amount lost was limited, and other sections of the account remained safe. I immediately contacted Binance Customer Support and shared all relevant details. The case is under review.
Important lessons for everyone:
Protect your email account as strictly as your exchange account
Avoid scanning QR codes when rushed or distracted
Do not multitask during live trading or public sessions
Act immediately if anything feels unusual
Crypto security is about attention as much as tools.
