Institutional appetite for crypto has hit a significant speed bump. According to the latest report from CoinShares, crypto investment products saw a net outflow ofĀ $952 millionĀ last week. This marks the first major exit of capital after four consecutive weeks of growth.

The primary culprit is political and regulatory uncertainty in the U.S. Markets were banking on the passage of theĀ Clarity ActĀ (the Crypto Market Transparency Act) by the end of 2025. However, proceedings have been delayed until January 2026.
This delay has created a vacuum of uncertainty, prompting investors to de-risk. Additionally, fears of potential "whale" sell-offs are adding pressure to the market sentiment.
