Long discussed the $500 million share sale (Nov 2024) that reportedly valued Ripple at $40 billion, drawing attention across both crypto and traditional finance—especially with major names like Citadel Securities and Fortress involved.
What Ripple says the money and momentum are for
Long said Ripple feels good about closing the funding in Q4 and views 2025 as a strong year for growth—both:

The deal structure: investor protections (and why Ripple likes them)
The segment also touched on protective clauses in the share-sale structure—provisions that can allow investors to sell shares back to Ripple at a guaranteed price/return under certain conditions.
