ACS Actividades de Construcción y Servicios (ACS) is reportedly nearing a €23 billion deal with Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), part of BlackRock, to develop data centres. The deal would involve GIP acquiring a roughly 50% stake in ACS’s “Digital & Energy” division, backed by €5 billion in equity and €18 billion in debt financing.

Google, led by Sundar Pichai, is set to invest $6 billion (over ₹$ETH 52,000 crore) in Andhra Pradesh to build a massive 1-gigawatt data centre with dedicated power infrastructure, Reuters reported citing government sources.

The project will be based in Visakhapatnam and will include $BTC 2 billion worth of renewable energy capacity to power the facility.

This is Alphabet’s first large-scale data centre investment in India and is expected to become Asia’s largest in both capacity and investment size.

It’s part of Google’s wider expansion across Asia, with similar projects underway in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.
