#Walrus (
$WAL Not because of charts.
Because it actually solves a boring but real problem:
massive files don’t belong on chains that replicate everything.
Walrus breaks big data into fragments, spreads them across storage nodes, and still lets the network rebuild files even if some nodes go offline. That’s the part people miss.
Sui is used as the control layer — it records proof that the network accepted custody.
The storage layer does the heavy lifting: serving, repairing, surviving churn.
If this goes mainstream, the signals I’m watching aren’t price candles 👀
• stable, predictable storage pricing
• fast retrieval even during node churn
• low repair bandwidth over time
• real decentralization across operators
Risks are still there: bugs, incentive drift, stake concentration. Nothing is guaranteed.
Not a price call. Just how I evaluate real utility in crypto.
If storage becomes boring and reliable… that’s a win.
DYOR.
