Starting this year, crypto services in 48 countries will begin recording user transactions for tax purposes.

The exchange of this data between states will start in 2027 as part of the CARF (OECD) standard.

What this means:

▪️ The goal is to combat tax evasion and money laundering.
▪️ Another 27 countries will join later, starting in 2028.

According to TaxBit (a company developing tax software for the crypto market), this data may eventually be used not only for tax reporting but also for identifying owners of crypto assets.

A fresh study of activity showed unpleasant statistics for the Solana network:

➥ 40-50% of the trading volume on Jupiter is pure arbitrage by bots, not real traders.
➥ At least 50% of the total DEX volume on Solana is made up of arbitrage bots (on some days up to 70%).
➥ Only 22-27% of all trading goes through Jupiter bots, the rest use custom solutions (which are harder to track).
➥ Eekeyguy admits: his methodology captures only 40-60% of real arbitrage activity. The actual number could be even higher.
➥ What this means: When you see "huge trading volumes on Solana" – half of that (or even more) – are bots that buy a token on one DEX and immediately sell it on another, profiting from the price difference. There are significantly fewer real people than it seems.

Trust Wallet users report theft of funds, ZachXBT confirmed the incident

Complaints have emerged on social media about unauthorized withdrawals from Trust Wallet accounts via a browser extension. Initially, this was reported by lesser-known accounts, but later the information was confirmed by well-known crypto detective ZachXBT.

According to him, the attack is still ongoing. The reasons have not yet been established, but the day before, an update to the Trust Wallet browser extension for Chrome was released, which may be related to the leak. The project team has not yet commented on the situation.
