Evening, wrapping up the day with the usual chart scroll — Bitcoin’s barely moved, still chilling right around $95,400 with a tiny +0.1% or so over 24 hours, market cap steady at about $3.3T. No fireworks from the majors, just that calm sideways drift we’ve seen a lot lately.

What stood out though were some altcoins picking up steam in the background. Monero (XMR) caught my eye with a solid +4.4% today — privacy coins seem to be getting a quiet rotation, maybe some folks shifting liquidity around. Cardano (ADA) and Stellar (XLM) also ticked up nicely around +1.7–2.8%, nothing crazy but steady. And then there’s DUSK jumping almost 50% — wild move, probably some project-specific news or hype kicking in, but reminds me how quickly things can turn when sentiment shifts even a little.

For me, these kinds of days when BTC is flat and alts start showing life are interesting — it’s like the market testing which narratives still have legs. I’ve been holding a bit of XMR for ages because of the privacy angle, and seeing it move up feels validating without the usual drama. No FOMO here though; just noting how the space keeps evolving quietly. Gaming stuff like The Sandbox or Axie from earlier in the week feels like it’s carrying over a bit too.
