$BTC - Bitcoin often drops sharply whenever the BOJ raises interest rates
Each time the Bank of Japan (BOJ) raises interest rates, Bitcoin usually experiences a significant decline. It is expected that on December 19, 2025, the BOJ will continue to raise interest rates. Will the old scenario repeat:
+ March 2024: BOJ raises interest rates from -0.1% to 0–0.1%, officially ending a 17-year period of negative interest rates. The strengthening yen causes speculative money to withdraw from risk assets. Bitcoin drops approximately 23% afterwards.
+ July 2024: Interest rates rise from 0–0.1% to 0.25%. Bitcoin drops approximately 26 - 30%.
+ January 2025: BOJ raises interest rates from 0.25% to 0.5%. After reaching a peak, Bitcoin reverses and drops sharply by 31%.

BTC - The price of Bitcoin is creating a bearish flag pattern on the daily chart. If a breakdown occurs (price breaks below the lower edge), the price could extend to the 60 - 70k range.

Also on the daily chart, the RSI shows a hidden bearish divergence, indicating that selling pressure is still dominant. However, prior to that (4/2025), a hidden bearish divergence also appeared, but the price of Bitcoin unexpectedly surged very strongly. (I highlighted it in green in the image).

Overall, both scenarios are worth considering. :) What do you think?

The draft decree on penalties in the field of cryptocurrency clearly states:
Domestic investors trading on unlicensed digital asset exchanges may be fined 10–30 million VND.
Organizations providing unlicensed cryptocurrency services or advertising in violation of regulations will be fined 180–200 million VND and must return the illegal profits. If individuals violate the same offense, the fine is approximately 90–100 million VND.
The draft also stipulates fines of 50–70 million VND for cases where the identity of the investor is not verified, and 100–150 million VND if organizations do not manage assets separately or do not monitor transactions. Violations related to documents provided to regulatory agencies may be fined up to 200 million VND.
According to Resolution 05, Vietnamese investors must transfer cryptocurrency assets from abroad to trade at organizations licensed by the Ministry of Finance within 6 months. Three agencies will jointly manage the market: the Ministry of Finance, the State Bank, and the Ministry of Public Security.
Vietnam currently has about 21 million people participating in the cryptocurrency market with a turnover of more than 200 billion USD each year.
