Binance officially launched the XAUUSDT trading pair for its Futures market on January 5, 2026.
Before this, if you wanted "Gold" on Binance, you had to use tokenized versions like PAXG (Pax Gold) or XAUt (Tether Gold). The introduction of XAUUSDT is a major shift because it allows you to trade Gold just like a traditional Forex pair or a crypto perpetual contract.
Why this is a big deal:
24/7 Trading: While traditional gold markets (like the London Stock Exchange) close on weekends, you can trade XAUUSDT on Binance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Settled in USDT: You don't need to hold physical gold tokens; your profits and losses are paid out in Tether (USDT).
