How to build intuition to catch the right alts

- Filter for 30D price change using @tokenterminal
- Look at top projects and investigate why it pumped
- Use X advanced search to find who talked about it before the run
- Look at any metrics that could be a signal. (E.g. Revenue, trading volume, price pattern etc)
- Work backwards and journal down the reasons. If there was no way to know ignore it
- This helps you understand why projects move and what to look out.

IPO season doesn't mean nobody wants to buy alts.

It means people are done with predatory tokenomics and being dumped on.

Protocols use tokens as a growth driver, leaving holders to eat the cost of this with little upside.

Staking rewards are usually rewarded in native tokens, forcing users to stake or be diluted.

Meanwhile what's given are vague promises that there may be value accrual over time when growth isn't even guaranteed.

Partly because of regulation. Partly because most protocols don't generate enough earnings for it to matter.

Tokens aren't bad.

There just isn't demand for bad tokens.

I used AI to backtest a trading strategy with zero coding knowledge.

- I fed o3 the full BTC price history.
- I explained my trade idea to it with my rationale.
- Had it generate the Python code for the backtest.
- Guided me through the set up with Google Colab.
- Fed the data back to o3 and had it analyze results.
- Optimized the strategy through various questions.

I don't expect it to be perfect, but it's cool how anyone can back test ideas now.
