Aster’s mission is straightforward:

become the leading multichain DEX, delivering a truly decentralized on-chain trading experience.

Their roadmap includes:
- Leveraging zkProofs to speed up transactions and increase scalability.
- Building a purpose-driven Layer 1 blockchain designed for performance and decentralization.

⚡ Trading Modes
Aster already provides three seamless trading modes:

- Perpetual Mode (Pro): Professional perpetuals trading with an order book interface, deep liquidity, very low fees, and advanced trading tools.
- 1001x: On-chain perpetuals trading with up to 1001x leverage (currently supporting BNB and Arbitrum pairs).
- Spot mode: Spot trading through an order book interface with deep liquidity and low fees.

Why is Aster such a big deal so fast?

Aster is backed by yzilabs which is a rebranded version of Binance Labs, carrying strong ties to CZ himself.

For those out of the loop: after all the legal issues, CZ can’t touch anything close to centralized exchanges or Binance anymore.

That forced him to look deeper into what he believes is the most powerful frontier of DeFi, synthetic dollars and stablecoin infrastructure.

He’s now betting big on protocols like Ethena (USDe) and new compliant stablecoins like USDtb, seeing digital dollars as the foundation for the next wave of decentralized finance.
