Pi Network’s native KYC solution is crucial to comply with regulations and ensure that all Pioneers are real individuals, maintaining the integrity of the ecosystem. With the recent influx of KYC requests following the Grace Period and its deadlines, more Validators are needed to help reduce wait times for Pioneers awaiting verification and increase the throughput of the KYC process.

Once you successfully complete KYC, help KYC move forward towards the Open Network goals by becoming a responsible KYC Validator for your country and region and inviting your fellow Pioneer peers to complete KYC and migrate to Mainnet.

The speed and throughput of a region’s progress in KYC and migration depend on the abundant availability, accuracy and responsible work by crowdsourced human Validators. Join forces to speed up the KYC and migration process in your region, and receive Pi for your good work!

Become KYC Validator
Most importantly, make sure to prioritize accuracy when working as a Validator. The amount of work assigned to Validators is positively associated with the prior good performance of the Validator. The system slows down assignments or even temporarily halts the status of Validators automatically if more inaccuracies arise, but good performance will lead to more assignments. The amount of work given is based on quality, not just quantity, so even if you’ve made past mistakes, consistent and accurate work will rebuild your standing and increase your workload.

Also, if you have lost your validation status recently, check back in the KYC app and your status might be restored. Our frequent deployments of new algorithms might affect some Validators’ status and later deployments can potentially reinstate it.

If you are a Validator, maintain your accuracy and contributions. If you’re not, now is the time to step up, support the community, and help Pi progress towards Open Network while making more Pi through your validation work.
