#Bitcoin‬ could never work for day-to-day payments, so the #MobileCoin blockchain was created to meet the needs of day-to-day payments. Payments on the MobileCoin blockchain are fast, private, global, have super low fees, and are self-custodial.
$MOB was created first, an asset that is deflationary and native to the MobileCoin blockchain, and was originally introduced to the world via Signal. The team decided on top of that, that they needed a best-in-class payments UI, so they made Sentz.
And along the way, they discovered people wanted a currency with less volatility. So eUSD was launched: a stablecoin that has all the advantages of the MobileCoin blockchain without the volatility. eUSD is not meant to replace MOB, but to give people choices, and ultimately bring the benefits of the MobileCoin blockchain to the largest possible audience.
